The fun in riding a bicycle in group is something very different than in riding solo. Events have been an integral part of Pink Pedals; we are pioneers in organising any scale cycling events. We organise customised cycling events for Schools, Corporate houses, Government Departments and individuals and that too in a very professional way.

EVENT # 1

Name of Event:- Juniors Cyclothon 1.0
Date of Event:- 17-Jun-2018
Number of Riders:- 180+
About the Event:- With the motto of bringing cycles back in the kid’s life, Juniors Cyclothon was organised for kids of age group 3 years to 15 years. The purpose of "Juniors Cyclothon" organized by Pink Pedals was to introduce children to the joys of cycling with a motto to install discipline & a feeling of responsibility towards our nature & atmosphere.

Name of Event:- Juniors Cyclothon 2.0
Date of Event:- 23-Dec-2018
Number of Riders:- 300+
About the Event:- After successful first edition of Junior Cyclothon. Juniors Cyclothon 2.0 was organised with more power and enthusiasm. This time on huge demand age group was changed to 3 years to 14 years. The purpose of "Juniors Cyclothon" organized by Pink Pedals was to introduce children to the joys of cycling with a motto to install discipline & a feeling of responsibility towards our nature & atmosphere. There was a mass gathering of more than 2000 people.

Name of Event:- Juniors Cyclothon 3.0
Date of Event:- 21-Jul-2019
Number of Riders:- 500+
About the Event:- After successful first & Second edition of Junior Cyclothon, third edition of Juniors Cyclothon was organised. The youngest rider enrolled for the event was just 18 months old. The purpose of "Juniors Cyclothon" organized by Pink Pedals was to introduce children to the joys of cycling with a motto to install discipline & a feeling of responsibility towards our nature & atmosphere. Kid enjoyed cycling, dance and received many gifts as a part of appreciation.

Name of Event:- Rang De Pinkcity 1.0
Date of Event:- 9-Mar-2020
Number of Riders:- 90+
About the Event:- On the occasion of International Women’s Day and Festival of Colours, HOLI, Pink Pedals organised a special ride named Rang De Pinkcity. All the participants enjoyed cycling, Dance, Colours and delicious breakfast.

Name of Event:- Full Moon Night Ride 1.0
Date of Event:- 31-Oct-2020
Number of Riders:- 110+
About the Event:- Why to enjoy ride in day time when you can have a gala ride during Full moon night. Pink Pedals come up with and concept ride named as “Full Moon Night Ride” where all the riders got decorated bicycles and enjoyed the ride in chilling night with no traffic on Road. The fun was on cloud 9 when the riders got chance to enjoy dancing on a vacant road on famous Bollywood numbers.

Name of Event:- Road Safety Week Ride
Date of Event:- 4-Feb-2019
Number of Riders:- 200+
About the Event:- In Support of Ministry of Transport, RTO and Government of Rajasthan, Pink Pedals organised Cycle rally giving message of safer road for cyclist and pedestrians. Transport Minister Mr. Pratap Singh Khachariyawas and Sports Minister Mr. Ashok Chandana rode Pink Pedals cycles and appreciated the event. Department of Road Safety also participated in the event held at Jawahar Circle Jaipur.

EVENT # 7

Name of Event:- Saksham Cyclothon
Date of Event:- 3-Nov-2017
Number of Riders:- 100+
About the Event:- In Support of PCRA (Petroleum Conservation Research Association), Ministry of Petroleum and different Oil and gas companies, Pink Pedals organised Cycle rally giving message of conserving fuel and save natural resources. All the employees of petrol pumps participated in the ride and enjoyed breakfast. Transport Minister Younis Khan was the chief guest and also rode our bicycle.

SAFETY TIPS

DO’S

  • Ride on:- As a rule, it is best to ride in the direction of traffic, staying as far to the left as is practical. However, always make sure there is room to handle emergencies and that you do not ride so close to the left that you run the risk of hitting the road sides.
  • Safety Gears:- Regardless of the type of cycling you are doing, always wear a helmet and other safety gears. Make sure your Helmet is properly fastened and fitted and not move when you shake your head.
  • Brakes:- Make sure your brakes are always in top-notch condition. Be aware of how weather and road conditions can affect your ability to brake. Under normal circumstance, apply the rear brake before the front brake. Use the rear brake for smooth gradual slowing down. Use the front brake for more abrupt and efficient braking. Only brake when the front wheel is straight.
  • Clothings:- Wear bright or light-coloured clothing during the day and reflective or fluorescent clothing at night or in poor visibility conditions.
  • Locking:- Always lock your cycle to prevent it from being taken away.
  • Remember 1 Seat = Only 1 rider.
  • Always use hand signals when stopping or turning
  • When you are part of a cycling group, ride single-file, not side-by-side.

DON’T

  • Do not ride on the road towards oncoming traffic.
  • Do not ride on "Expressway" or within "Tunnel Area”.
  • Do not hold onto other vehicles while pedalling.
  • Do not use mobile phone and earphone for music listening.
