    DO’S

    • Ride on:- As a rule, it is best to ride in the direction of traffic, staying as far to the left as is practical. However, always make sure there is room to handle emergencies and that you do not ride so close to the left that you run the risk of hitting the road sides.
    • Safety Gears:- Regardless of the type of cycling you are doing, always wear a helmet and other safety gears. Make sure your Helmet is properly fastened and fitted and not move when you shake your head.
    • Brakes:- Make sure your brakes are always in top-notch condition. Be aware of how weather and road conditions can affect your ability to brake. Under normal circumstance, apply the rear brake before the front brake. Use the rear brake for smooth gradual slowing down. Use the front brake for more abrupt and efficient braking. Only brake when the front wheel is straight.
    • Clothings:- Wear bright or light-coloured clothing during the day and reflective or fluorescent clothing at night or in poor visibility conditions.
    • Locking:- Always lock your cycle to prevent it from being taken away.
    • Remember 1 Seat = Only 1 rider.
    • Always use hand signals when stopping or turning
    • When you are part of a cycling group, ride single-file, not side-by-side.

    • Do not ride on the road towards oncoming traffic.
    • Do not ride on "Expressway" or within "Tunnel Area”.
